Northwest Education Automotive Training (NEAT)
Automotive Technology offers challenging and rewarding careers with above-average wages, regular employment opportunities that can't be outsourced, and also plays a vital role in industries that help shape the world we live in.
NEAT offers student scholarships for automotive programs that provide trained technical workers in the fields of mechanical and collision repair. Our scholarships are given to deserving high school seniors or graduates interested in a career in the automotive industry.

About NEAT Scholarships
NEAT scholarships are funded through businesses, educators and automotive associations. The goal of the organization is to increase awareness of career opportunities in the automotive industry.
Who Is Eligible? Scholarship applicants must be a senior in high senior, a high school graduate, or have received his or her GED. Applicants must be attending or enrolling in an automotive certificate program not affiliated with an automotive manufacturer (such as ASEP, ASSET, T-Ten or CAP) at a community college within Oregon or Southwest Washington.
Size and Duration of Scholarships Each spring, NEAT will award one or more scholarships, each for at least $500. The scholarships may be applied to tuition, book and fee expenses. Scholarships are not renewable, but winners are eligible to re-apply for a second scholarship in subsequent years.
How To Apply All completed applications are reviewed each spring and the applicant will be notified once the available scholarships are awarded. To aid in the selection process, the application must include a copy of your unofficial transcript.
